| Features
Include: |
| Graphical Game Board |
| Tracks
all of your pieces. No longer do you need to keep your board
game set up for days or weeks at a time. |
|
 |
| Simple Drag-and-Drop Unit Movement |
| Game pieces are placed onto
and moved around the map using standard
drag-and-drop. Colored effects let you know which
pieces you've moved already. |
|
 |
| Right-Click and Merge-Drop Unit Editing |
| Game pieces are modified
using standard right-click context menus. Pieces
with quantities associated with them can incremented,
decremented, or be split into smaller groups. They
can also be merged simply by dropping stacks onto each
other. |
|
 |
| Turn History |
| Each phase or turn of the
game is stored, and can be accessed with a simple click of
a tab. Your entire game is stored in a single
compressed file for easy emailing. |
|
 |
| Map Text |
| Each turn has its own Map
Text area that allows you to include any amount of textual
information. Additionally, text commands can be
added directly to the map. |
|
 |
| Movement Arrows |
| Arrows can be placed on the
map to indicate the movement of your pieces. In some
games, the use of Movement Arrows can eliminate the need
for textual annotation. |
|
 |
| Multiple Game Support |
| Many games can be played all
with the same user interface. And besides the many
available commercial games supported by MapView, anyone
can create their own game modules! |
